BM: Operasyon Olursa Kuzey Irak'ta Mülteci Krizi Yaşanabilir

BM Mülteciler Yüksek Komiseri Guterres, olası mülteci krizi riski nedeniyle sınır ötesi operasyonun yapılmamasını istedi.

Antonio Guterres, sınır ötesi operasyon tezkeresinin uygulanmamasını istedi. Birleşmiş Milletler Mülteciler Yüksek Komiseri Antonio Guterres, Türkiye'nin sınır ötesi operasyon yapması halinde, Kuzey Irak'ta ciddi oranda bir yerinden edilme yaşanabileceğinden kaygılandıklarını açıkladı.

"Kuzey yönetimi ya da Kürdistan, Irak'ın en istikrarlı bölgesi oldu. Burada güvenlik kaygısıyla Güney ya da Orta Irak'tan gelmiş Iraklılar da yaşıyor" dedi.

"Bu hassas bölgede kayda değer miktarda bir yerinden edilmeye yol açabilecek her türlü gelişmeyle ilgili ancak çok derin kaygı duyduğumuzu ifade edebilirim."

Guterres, hükümete bir yıl süreyle sınır ötesi operasyon yetkisi veren ve yarın (17 Ekim) Meclis'te oylanacak olan tezkereyle ilgili de "Bu tezkerenin hiç uygulanmamasını diliyorum" dedi. (TK)
